About
My paintings are inspired by the closeness to the sea, by my favourite places and by my everyday surroundings.
I do get my ideas when I go through old photos, taking photos during the holidays or even in my own kitchen.
For years I painted with oil paint on canvas. During my teacher training in art I began to experiment with abstract painting and ornaments as well as graphic reproduction, drawing and photography.
After that there was only little time for painting. It came back during my sabbatical in 2021/22 with lots of new pictures.
And here they are.
